Jordi releases second Microdose single “Standing in the Back” Mar 08, 2021

“Standing in the Back” is Jordi’s follow-up to her debut single “Escape Route” from January. Jordi first appeared in our Microdose series as the drummer of Unicorns at Heart, one of our 2020 Microdose artists, but has quickly established herself as an indie-rock powerhouse on her own.

Speaking on the new single she said, “’Standing in the Back’ is a rollercoaster of emotions. It literally is about the power one person had on my emotions. Because I never got to talk to and truly know them, it drove me crazy. It’s a song of my mind wandering to so many different scenarios like, ‘do they notice me or am I justanother fish in the sea?’ There’s so many questions in my head, and the way I felt is written in the song.”
