Slothrust premiere “Double Down” (Willy Beaman Remix) via Clash Magazine Jan 08, 2019

With a little help from a childhood friend, Slothrust have released a “Double Down” remix which has just premiered on Clash Magazine. The band’s Will Gorin reminisced about a longtime collaborator for the “Double Down” (Willy Beaman Remix).

“While kids were learning to tie their shoes, my oldest friend Willy Beaman was playing Mozart. He could perform any pop song on the radio instantaneously. It was beyond skill. It was sorcery. While he dropped out of Berklee to play keys for pop stars like Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Nicki Minaj, I was forming musical bonds with new friends that would later become Slothrust.

This remix is bringing us back to our parent’s basements, in that we are collaborating again for the first time since high school. We hope this remix will bridge the gap between the Pop/EDM and Rock worlds.”
