New Slothrust Single “Planetarium” Stereogum Premiere Aug 31, 2018

Slothrust explore the relationship between humans and nature on their newest single “Planetarium” from forthcoming album The Pact. Frontwoman Leah Wellbaum told Stereogum that the track is “about the way that humans are obsessed with artificially recreating nature for the sake of voyeurism while simultaneously abusing and destroying it.”

Stereogum adds that “Planterium” “finds Slothrust at their most cranked up and restless, as they lurch through three and a half minutes of bluesy alt rock with stellar guitar work and swaggering wordplay.”
