Murray A. Lightburn is a man in many uniforms in the new video for “Changed My Ways,” sporting several outfits that range from cop to crustacean while singing his singular ballad from Hear Me Out.
The suit swapping video is a collaboration between Lightburn, The Dears’ Natalia Yanchak, and Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene.
“I texted Kevin Drew and said… ‘Hey I need to make a music video.’ The next morning he called me with a great idea,” Lightburn explained to Exclaim! “We plopped the whole thing into my partner Natalia’s lap, and within a couple of weeks the whole thing was done. And it turned out amazing. That’s how the pros do it.”
