Los Angeles based band Criminal Hygiene are our latest signing and have released their first single “Hardly News” from the forthcoming Run It Again out March 1st, 2019.

As opening tracks go, “Hardly News” is what’s called a grabber, kicking in with charging guitars, a tuneful, upbeat vibe, and a brain-twister of a first line:

“If every person has people to be

Then currently I’m some form of me”

In the video directed by Ryan Baxley (FIDLAR, The Front Bottoms, Culture Abuse), the band play a version of themselves on the path to making the hits, birthing the dreams, and coming of age in a rock biopic unlike any other. We’re told it’s based on a true story, but you can sort the facts from legends by watching the video below.

Run It Again is a 10-song album that shines a fresh light on a raw sort of garage rock, full of melody, smart lyrics and hooks for days and is available for pre-order now.
