Joel Jeromes Premieres “Falling Star” Single + Video via FLOOD Magazine Mar 23, 2022

Today, Mexican-American songwriter, performer and producer Joel Jerome premiered his new single “Falling Star” with accompanying music video on FLOOD Magazine. It follows the announcement of his Dangerbird Records debut Super Flower Blood Moon, out May 13.

“Falling Star” continues Jerome’s emotive combination of “plucked acoustic guitar and baroque strings” channeled by his previous two singles before “dipping into a jaunty, piano-led pop chorus that recalls the psych-pop sounds of 1970s Southern California.” The music video is a direct homage to one of Jerome’s core influences Juan Gabriel, continuing his paying tribute to the “lineage of Mexican singer-songwriters that have inspired his music.”
