Night Shop makes his Microdose debut with new single “Hello Take Me Anywhere” May 29, 2020
Our ongoing Microdose single series returns today with Night Shop’s “Hello Take Me Anywhere.” Night Shop is the songwriting project Justin Sullivan, longtime drummer for Kevin Morby, Flat Worms, The Babies, and many more.
“Hello Take Me Anywhere,” is a locomotive rocker, simultaneously displaying Justin’s roots as a drummer in its momentum and his facility with hooks in its immediately sticky bounce of a melody. Listen to it now.
The music video for “Hello Take Me Anywhere” premiered today on BTRtoday, filmed at home during quarantine and featuring guest appearances from Tiffanie Lanmon and Allison Crutchfield.
BTR describe the vibe accurately: “The video is filmed from the quarantined musicians’ individual homes, giving it even more connection to our strange times. But the track still manages to whisk you away. Melodic guitar, catchy vocals, and lyrics reminiscing about actually living life give you a breath of fresh air and new yearning for life.”
And last but not least, Justin will be performing a short live set on his Instagram live stream at 5pm EST/2pm PST today to celebrate this single release. Don’t miss it!
