A Grape Dope’s “Puppet Clubbing” Single Out Now Apr 03, 2020

The next release in the Arthur King Presents experimental album series approaches. This one comes from A Grape Dope also know as John Herndon, drummer, music producer, and founding member of the iconic musical group Tortoise. The first single “Puppet Clubbing” is out now. “Puppet Clubbing” is the opening banger from the forthcoming album, showcasing an incendiary cowbell motif that is both playful and menacing in equal parts. This intricate medley of beats, synthesizers, and noise is a colorful, explosive introduction to the world of A Grape Dope. Listen here.
