Criminal Hygiene share new video for “Dangers of Convenience” with Under the Radar Feb 15, 2019
Criminal Hygiene have just shared their latest single “Dangers of Convenience” and its accompanying music video with Under the Radar. “Dangers of Convenience” is the latest single from Criminal Hygiene’s forthcoming album for Dangerbird entitled Run It Again. UTR writes “The song takes a cautionary glance at the perils of easy-won comfort over a punchy and melodic crunch of guitars, while the video mirrors the advice of the song in a slapstick way. The video was directed by Jon Sortand of The Shins, and features model sets humorously spliced between footage filmed in the Yucca Valley.”
Criminal Hygiene’s front person Michael Fiore discusses the meaning behind the song and video, stating, “In a world where everything is seemingly in reach at the touch of a button on a screen, we wanted to show that convenience factors can ultimately lead to one’s death, either on the smallest, most asinine levels (portrayed in the video) or on a larger scale that you can imagine. The song is about relationships but the video is hinting something bigger.”

Criminal Hygiene’s Run It Again is out March 1st and available to pre-order now. The band will be supporting the album with a slew of U.S. tour dates this spring, opening for Swervedriver, Failure, and Bob Mould on select nights. All tour dates below:
