Cones announce debut album Pictures Of Pictures, premiere video for first single “Moonstone” via Paste Jun 21, 2019

A creative familial force, the LA based brotherly duo Cones have just premiered the video for the first single “Moonstone” via Paste from their forthcoming debut album Pictures Of Pictures, out September 20th, 2019 on Dangerbird.

Siblings Jonathan and Michael Rosen recorded and produced the “ethereal track with a heavy emphasis on funky synths and transcendent vocals” themselves, as well as the former brother spending two months on a “trippy, hand-drawn animation” for the lunar landing inspired video.

“Moonstone” is the first taste of Cones “delving into their dreams for song ideas, trying to reach otherworldly nuances in production and, overall, stretching their own creative boundaries.”
