Arthur King & The Night Sea Palmetto Three-Day Art Installation + Album Coming In April Mar 21, 2017

Experimental music & art collective Arthur King & The Night Sea will be presenting a large-scale interactive art installation entitled Palmetto the weekend of April 28-30 in Los Angeles, California at One Big Stage (map).

The multisensory installation is based on the concept of the balance of opposites, and will include live performances of music & dance, short film screenings, manipulated projections, directional audio, and a hands-on children’s workshop facilitated by founding member and dad of two rug-rats, Peter Walker, and visual artist John Schlue.

To accompany the weekend-long event, Arthur King & The Night Sea will release a 10-track audio recording, Palmetto, on vinyl and digital formats available on Friday, April 21st online & at independent record shops. Preview three tracks from Palmetto of what rockNYClive calls “mad psychedelia, everywhere from a dark jazz trumpet to an almost South American ambiance, a Dub Tropicalia steamed in the layers of an LSD jaunt.”
