We are incredibly proud to announce that the newest release in our experimental album series known as “Arthur King Presents” has finally arrived – Tim Rutili’s (arroyo) Abstractions. This one is a sprawling landscape of sound crafted by a remarkably singular and inventive artist. Swirls of processed guitar, strings, and piano drift over fragments of electronic chatter and curiously indescribable percussive phrases, evoking a living, breathing sonic ecosystem. These elements merge gracefully to form a cohesive whole that exudes a beautiful sense of mystery. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Rutili is the front-person of the renowned Chicago bands Califone and Red Red Meat. He was also a member of Ugly Casanova with his RRM/Califone bandmate Brian Deck and has contributed instrumentation to groups such as Joan Of Arc, Modest Mouse, and many others.

Tim Rutili has created a wonder of an album with (arroyo) Abstractions and we could not be happier to present it as the latest chapter in our “Arthur King Presents” series. Arthur King Presents Tim Rutili: (arroyo) Abstractions is out today and available on all major digital music platforms. Listen now here!

If you are in Los Angeles tomorrow, September 29th, we are hosting a free Tim Rutili show where he will be performing a live score to the film Above the Arroyo – A Dream of the Stairs by director Russell Brown. RSVP to this free event here.
