Aaron Sinclair is a stalwart of Austin indie rock and one of the city’s most highly regarded songwriters. After fronting the band Frank Smith and releasing a series of albums including a collaboration with Juliana Hatfield, preceded by years of drumming for the beloved raw/punk/garage band The Lot Six, Aaron re-focused his energy in 2014 and started the aptly-named A. Sinclair — a much-needed glimmer of hope in the rock and roll landscape of the post-MP3 generation.

Today A. Sinclair releases their sophomore album Get Out Of The City, an album that’s already racking up a number of accolades and social praise with over 100,000 monthly listeners discovering the band on Spotify worldwide. With features in Spotify’s New Music Friday, Weekend Buzz, and Hot New Alternative tracks, plus support from Apple Music’s Best of the Week and “Found Sounds: Alternative” playlists — A. Sinclair is starting to get some well-deserved recognition.
